For our Client, we are looking for a:
System Administrator (m/f)
Place of work: Zagreb Sesvete (hybrid)
As a System Administrator, you will work in an interdisciplinary team of professionals, focusing on daily operations within the Brugg Group IT Infrastructure team and ensuring end-user’s business is running smoothly. As 2nd level support, you will be the bridge between end-users and project engineers, facilitating clear lines of communication, as well as fostering a customer-centric approach.
Responsibilities:
- Administrating the servers (local or cloud), ensuring their proper functioning and availability
- Monitoring system performance, capacity, and security alerts using monitoring tools to identify potential issues and trends
- Performing routine maintenance tasks, such as system updates, patches, and backups, under the guidance of senior staff
- Assisting in the analysis of monitored data to optimize system configurations and address performance bottlenecks
- Providing technical support and troubleshooting assistance to Service Desk colleagues as well as end-users
- Responding to help desk tickets and resolving issues promptly, as well as escalating complex problems to the appropriate party
- Maintaining accurate documentation of system configurations and troubleshooting steps to facilitate knowledge sharing and collaboration among team members
Requirements:
- Computer science educated (high school or university)
- Between 1 and 3 years of experience in similar positions
- Junior level knowledge of Microsoft on-premises (Windows command line) and Azure Cloud Services
- Fluency in English (spoken and written) is mandatory, knowledge of German is a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies
- Great communication and interpersonal skills with a preference for collaboration and contribution
- Eager to learn, grow and develop own skills and competencies
